I'm sure Thad is big enough to defend himself, but from my experience, he's a
giant music lover who occasionally bites off more than he can chew. Certainly
not a businessman or a 'gouger.' How he prices his goods should be of no real
concern to you, unless you see something you really like + desire it.
I've purchased several items from Thad in the past. Last March, for example, he
unloaded, among other things, STC's Emit Ecaps for $14. I'm sure I could have
found it new for the same price with little effort. Thad's post made me
'remember' that it was something I wanted to buy + I didn't mind paying $14 to
have it delivered to my PO BOX.
It's odd; six hours ago, I read a post detailing how IDM was advertised as a
forum for 'intelligent discussion.' Now, I just finished reading an unnecessary
flame of a fellow list member. Thad's a nice guy [to whom I also owe some tapes
to :)], and saying nasty things about him without actually doing business with
him previously is silly.
Something IS happening, isn't there, Margret?
