The Ltd Edition comes with a 192 page booklet, same format as the ones that come with Trance Europe Express/Volume releases. It contains lots of artwork by FSOL & Buggy G Riphead; see their website (http://www.vmg.co.uk/fsol/ for some examples. There is a sort of narrative (in 3 parts?) that runs thru the booklet along with the images. The first bit is about a guy who snorts his own dead skin cells (!) in order to extend his life; the second bit is about traffic cameras; the third is about a guy who lives in a block of flats and becomes obsessed with the sounds coming from the flat above him. The style of pictures & text reminds me of 'The Medium is the Massage' by Marshall McLuhan. I quite enjoyed reading it on the tube home listening to 'glass' on my walkman. Verdict on the album: good so far- will need longer to get into it properly -- Jameel Syed ______________________________________________________________________________ http://www-students.doc.ic.ac.uk:80/~jas5/ "it was an act of self hypnosis, a deliberate drowning of consciousness by means of rhythmic noise"
