I agree with Aaron on this one. When I first put on this release, I thought the background sounded familiar, and then I realized it was from F242. It is a quite excellent 12" in itself, but for comparison's sake I'd argue that the Plug 12"s are much more musical and intricately programmed. There's a lot more going on (sample/sound manipulation-wise) in the Plug releases than stringing together a bunch of cheesy samples in an ironic fashion. GD
