The white book standard max for a CD is 76 minutes. If you push it over that there's a good chance that a lot of players won't be able to play it. Not to say it's impossible mind, I have classical CD's that clock in at 77 and 78 minutes. But the target audience of Classical music are expected to have payed lots on their players, and most have. I have an Arcam alpha 5 CD player, bloody incredible sound it has, and it can handle 78 minutes. I used to have a Philips thing and it couldn't cope if the CD ran over 70 minutes. - Stray. - 'Technique is Not Meaning'
