You misread the liner notes (not hard to do in this case - what an unreadable
tracklist!). It's (p) 1996 Warp, no copyright date listed. In other words,
Warp may not own the copyright, but they have the (exclusive) right to produce
copies of the sound recording as of 1996. Read up in 'This Business of Music'
or a similar publication for more info.
