I'm having trouble imagining what exactly could make this stuff any harder
than what's already being played by ultra-hardcore DJs I've heard like Ron
D. Core or EFX or Tron. Hardcore (squared) = what? Industrial? Japanese
noise? Speedcore? John Zorn-style free jazz? If this is truly a "new" form
of hardcore, please explain in what way it would be new, since I'm always
interested in stocking a least one copy of the most extreme form of music I
can find, if only for the pleasure of winning stereo wars with my
neighbors.
As for sounding like punk, that makes it sound kinda pansy-ass to me. I
could list a ton of stuff that makes punk rock sound like elevator music.
Peace and bleeding ears,
-Phil
