I have actually, but for Mike D to say that THIS style of electronic
music is somehow better or above the rest becuase it reminds him of punk
or riot grrrrl music (all of which is currently pretty awful IMHO) is
ridiculous, and probably the worst reason I've ever heard for someone's
appreciation of techno/dance/idm/etc. The Beasties have been saying for
years in interviews how much they hate ravers and techno music and it's
quite retarded of them to all of a sudden jump on the bandwagon when
they've been dissing it for years in the press.
