Urm.... if I remember school correctly, calix is latin for a cup of some sort, and mira as praefix has usually something to do with extraordinary. Have Warp signed the AA?

Mmmmm.... I've seen the first thirty-something epsiodes on video (yes, I wear glasses, read most of Tolkiens work, dream of having sex with Troi, and can be generally considered a nerd, no, I don't have a girlfriend, and, no, I don't have anything better to do), and still feel that missus Janeway would have been better off commanding a Punch & Judy show at the local playground. Nelix gets increasingly irritating, Chakotay (whatever) keeps trying to imitate a piece of wood, and the Kaezon are still nowhere as scary, cunning, crypto-fascist or bold as the Klingons, the Romulans OR the bloody Cardassians. The doctor is funny, though the joke wears thin after a while. There's gonna be a few nice episodes (one were the doc has to cure the bio-neural gel packs of a virus infection, and one were B'Lana gets split in two persons - one 100% human and one 100% Klingon - though they screw it up by getting all sentimental at the end), but on the whole it's just TNG leftovers with a different cast. They've proven you can succesfully change an entire cast after twenty years an be even more cool & successful then before, but now they've also proven you can't do it twice (let alone three times). God, I miss the Borg. Maarten on now: Fat Boy Slim - Better Living Through Chemistry
