If you are new to IDM (hello newbie!) you should get this.
If you have some/none/all of the tracks on it you should get this.
The mixing is excellent; the mix between the unreleased Plaid track and one
of the tracks off Ventolin (Blech Track 5)- wow!
The main diff between this CD and the tape from earlier in the year is the use
of the samples that are dropped in; they are much less intrusive (altho the conversation with the bomb has spurred me on to find a copy of Darkstar).
Instead the CD has short bits of text read outloud by a Macintosh -> a new alternative to vocoding? (anythings better than that bloke out of Underworld ranting
on, stuck on the same note- IMHO)
In conclusion- essential (the packaging is 100x better than the mixtape- although in a similar style, and the inlay has an address for getting details of
Designer's Republic merchandise plus a free A3 poster; smart!)
BTW: dont play track 9 too loud or your neighbours will think strange things are afoot & probably call the poe-lease.
