It uses the robots pictured inside Tri Repetae(US version.. I'm not sure if
the UK one is any different). The camera pretty much focuses in out on
those greyish-green mechanical robot things, and switches to different
ones. During the noisy parts the screen distorts. And if I recall the
whole thing is letterboxed.
That description doesn't make it sound all that special.. but it really
is pretty cool. I think the fact that the video is made to go really
well with the music is what really makes it so good.
