Dan Handrabur will quite possibly be one of the main artists for new west
coast label Map Records. We are planning to release two full length
projects of Dan's, Mere Mortals - a sublime ethno dubby future freakbeat
collection of really amazing stuff, and Dreamlogic - stellar, pounding,
melodic, trippy, sexy electronica. There may also be other projects from
him as well, he is unstoppable!

This was not re-released, although Dan and I did discuss Outersanctum 2 for
Harthouse while I was there. Now we may re-release it (remastered as well!)
as a bonus disc with one of our upcoming new Vancouver compilations. We may
do Outersanctum 2 for Map as well. Options a'plenty!

There may not be another Off And Gone album for Harthouse, seems it was too
adventurous and unique for the typical Harthouse fan in Europe, so the
label isn't too interested in more, althought the London office of Eye Q is
finally releasing something from them, so we'll have to see what happens
there (I always felt Off And Gone would do much better in England than
Germany). But Dan and Phil are both continuing to write and record, so
watch out for more amazing music from these two masters of electronica!
"Welcome To Lotus Land", Map's first Vancouver compilation, will have
tracks from Mere Mortals, Dreamlogic, Off and Gone, Cap'm Stargazer (Phil
Western), Pilgrims Of The Mind, and many other Vancouver artists. There is
an amazing scene here ready to explode. Detroit, Berlin, London -
VANCOUVER!!!!
Please excuse the promotional nature of this reply, but I think these
artists and their music is very worthy of your attention and appreciation.
