I've got a little info: All the RAC i've got are badass shit. I've got the 'Tangents' and 'Doublejointed' EP's and the LP, 'Structures' Tangents = 4 tracks of breakbeat bliss Doublejointed = 2 semi-housy tracks and 2 shit hot electro tracks I can't remember the LP very well, but there's a few nice IDM type tracks...was expecting more breaks. The production quality is superb throughout. interesting fact #1: the EP's were written by Dunkenfield/Benson the LP was written by Dunkenfield very interesting fact #2: all were engineered by none other then Richard Brown of Autechre Well that's about all I got. I researched RAC awhile ago, but can't remember what I found out...check out the warp site. Once apon a time, I thought RAC had something to do with LFO, because of the marked similarity between RAC 'nine' and LFO 'Tied up(electro mix)'...now I realize that that's treading on pretty thin ice. Silly me, but they sure do mix well together. I plan on giving the LP a listen tonight, maybe I'll post a review. As for the singles, if you like breaks and can find'em, buy'em! There was a time when everytime you went out in LA, you'd hear a RAC track or two. I still like to throw 'nine' or 'quexos' into my electro sets. hope this helps. same bat channel, brock np: Gregory Flickner Quintet - 'Monkey Boots'
