1. Administrator, not Moderator. He's the guy who has to figure out
why some brain dead mail agent in Swindon is bouncing 50 copies
of the same name, and handle subscription and unsubscription
request from people who can't or won't read instructions.
'Moderation' means he decides what the content of the list is, and
in my 3 years hear I don't remember AMP squelching ANYONE!
2. AMP tells us when he's got hard-to-find stuff, and i hadn't
noticed any ALARMING self-promotion. He's been pretty restrained
even on promoting THREADS, the IDM compilation CD, and he has
his own cash tied up in that!
3. Integrity? Hoo Hah! You want the DMI (Dance Music with Integrity)
not IDM list.
N.B. I wrote, then deleted, a little mini flame to Lance, but flaming
is for newbies, right? I leave it as an excersise for the reader to
determine just how witty, cutting, erudite and crude it was.
P.S. IDM has TWO AMP's. Free EMP to first person who knows who the other
is!
