I was on the telephone holding for the Oregon Department of Motor
Vehicles once, listening to the cheesy muzak, when, what should they play
but "Lift" by 808 State! At first I thought "Why would they muzak 808
State?", but then I realized 808 State must have lifted (ouch!) the
melody from a muzak tune.
Of course, these days 808 State writes their own muzak.
