When I was in the UK I went looking for a copy of the original On CD because I only had the Sire US version which doesn't contain d-scape but had the reload mix in its place, and I had the On remix 12'. I went around to the major stores (Tower, Virgin) thinking this would be an easy thing to pickup and I found exactly what you describe. They had copies with both the original On cover and the Remix cover but the CD's inside both had the info for the remix version only printed on them. I had to go around and find a used copy because I wasn't sure if both discs were the remix version.
