Maybe you misread Tom's post. He said Amoeba and Rasputin were the place to get a "great used selection". He's absolutely right on that. And the new selection at Amoeba is getting better and better thanks to Peter's diligent work. Rasputin on the other hand is seriously flailing. I had to laugh when someone mentioned that the "logical progression" 2CD was a steal at $18. Amoeba had _3_ used copies for $10.95 a piece. (That's $9.85 if you pick them up on Thursday night!) Hell, even Rasputin had a mispriced new copy of the Chimera CD for $12! Sure, Mod Lang gets them fast and furious, but the prices... If you're looking for vinyl, though, this is the only place to be in Berkeley. I could go on, suffice to say that I own more CDs with an Amoeba sticker on them then any other store. -- David "not an employee, just an addict" Jones
