Mikron 64- "sys 49152" (Storage Secret Sounds) Do you like electro? If you do then you might like this record. Every song has vocals. All vocals have been vocoded. Kraftwerkian rhythms abound. A bit of new waveyness has been thrown in. The lyrics are all in German, so I have no idea what they are saying, but the songs are very catchy nonetheless. Strike that- the songs are -extremely- catchy. And they are actual songs at that with a chorus and everything. Sure to be a hit in all the best orbiting space discos!
K?hn- "2" (K-RAA-K) Well the title actually seems to be K?hn squared instead of K?hn "2", but I'll just call it K?hn 2. Very neat-o computerized wackiness abounds. There are "songs" with vocals (very strange vocals), there are glitchy ambient tracks, tracks with saxophones , and noisy distorted DSP silliness. Plus there is a track entitled "The wrath of K?hn" which is rather amusing. On the whole a very engaging and stimulating album with which to annoy your neighbors. You simply can't miss it.
arovane- atol scrap (din) Shimmering atmospheres with those lovely haunting melancholy machine melodies we all like so much. There are abstract song structures with blippy little tunes. Those clattery computer rhythms are there too but are occasionally submerged within dreamy clouds of reverbed synths. Not a lot more to say about it really, other than it's excellent
