I haven't read anybody reviews about the new Stasis, just curious whether
anybody bought it yet? If so can they tell me a little about it. I am
planning to order it soon. Thanks.

Its on the info channel for your cable system and broadcast all over the
country! Its on monday nights from 10:00 PM to 12:00PM. I have done a few

past Saturday (with John Howard - SF, Ryde - NYC, Mark E Quark - SD, Jeff
Winfield - LA, Jamie Thinnes - LA, Steve Massa - LA). Did anyone go to
this?? I was wondering what you thought of John Howard...he is one of my
ALL-TIME favorite house DJ's!! He will be back in town on August 10th for

Southern California kinda sucks for dj equipment, I know. There are some
good stores, but I am so far away from them all, I was forced to buy my
turntables and equipment from Guitar Center. I dont know if they sell user
replaceable crossfaders, but you might call em.

MAN FATALLY SHOT DURING FIGHT AT PALMDALE PARTY
A 19-year-old man was shot an killed after a fistfight borke out at
an all-night party in Palmdale this weekend.
Serafin Herrera of Littlerock was shot twice in the chest Saturday
night, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He was
taken to the Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he died shortly
after arrival.
Party-goers paid a $5 admission to attend the all-night event, know
as a "RAVE," in a remote area near the California Aqueduct south of
Elizabeth Lake Road, according to sheriff's deputies.
The fistfight borke out about 11:30 p.m.
Deputies were called and Herrera was found when they cleared the crowd.
Rodriguez said sheriff's deputies are uncertain if Herrera was the
intended victim or a bystander.

Did any of you know about this mysterious 'rave' that took place on
Saturday? Wasn't that the night of the full moon!? Perhaps Moontribe
hasn't gone away!! oh boy...there I go spreading rumours! (yes Im joking,

I recall times when my friends have driven us home, and they have been on acid.
I once caught my friend falling asleep in the driver seat. Sometimes, we drive
home, and none of us recall driving. Its strange. I already have a D.U.I. I get
my liscence back on July 5th. Im going to celebrate by driving my friends to
Stratosphere on the 6th, because they have all been nice enough to drive me to
all the events this year. Although, there have been 1 or 2 times when I have
had to drive us home [without a liscence], simply because everyone else is
too messed up to drive. Im just scared that I will need to drive home, and
out of back luck, get caught and then get another couple years of a
suspended liscence.

I understand what you mean, hardcore hurts my head after a while. And it
just doesnt create the same vibe that progressive trance, acid, etc does.
Elements of techno was ALL hardcore, and I had a horrible time. I wanted it
to stop so badly. I almost went up to the dj's and begged them to spin some
trance stuff. And when I see ravers moshing and throwing each other around,
I just go "What the hell?" I mean, if I wanted that, I would have gone to a
Minor Threat show.
Stratosphere shouldnt be that bad. They have a "Progressive Trance" room
with Christopher Lawrence (My hero) and Dj Trance, etc. That oughtta be good.
