I noticed this when I was making a tape copy of Jeff Mills'
Purpose Maker 001. I accidentally lopped off the first note
of the track "the Dance" [the track with the _very_ tightly
looped old KMS sample] and the track sounds completely
different to me now. There may be some sort of
psychoacoustic thing going on, but my "mental" loop
point for the track changed.
