I still have to say that while I found "Salamander"
an alright listen, I much prefer "Beautronics" or
putting all their 7"s and 10"/split/comp tracks
onto one tape. For some reason it doesn't grab me,
which may just be I've heard a lot of the Isan and
Isan-esque sound in the past year (not as fresh
as it first was). Novisad I agree is excellent, along
with Cathars and Jochem Paap some of the best
ambient stuff of 1999.
