Mark Stewart, yes!
Parts of his recent album, _Control Data_, sound like Underground
Resistance run through a blender.
Trent Reznor couldn't get Adrian Sherwood (Mark Stewart's collaborator and
co-producer), so he got Keith LeBlanc (another Sherwood/Stewart
collaborator) to produce his first album. Several remixes of tracks from
_Broken_ and _The Downward Spiral_ are clearly aiming in the direction of
Mark Stewart's 2nd album _As the Veneer of Democracy Starts to Fade_.
While playing this album a few years ago at college, one of my roommates
left, telling me "this music causes brain damage!" Look into it. Comes
with my highest recommendation. It's on Mute so it may not be easy to get
but is always in print.
