I think if you ask Jack himself he'd give much respect to Coldcut for being one of the originators of the style back in the late 80's. Don't you just love inane blanket statements? I'm a MBM fan, so don't get me wrong but not even Atkins and May are solely responsible for the music we have today. Ours is the generation of stolen ideas and sampled sounds.
