I don't think you should write off Gescom 2 just because it is not the boys' usual style. I was shocked when I first heard it but I don't think you should compare it to their other stuff since it is so different. They definitely get my praise for trying something different. I don't like the EP as much as the others but I keep playing it and will continue to do so because what Gescom are trying to express was not immediately obvious on the first listens. Just last night I appreciated the beats in Snackwitch like I have never done, but I do much prefer the other track. What I am trying to say is that the way you should approach music you don't like at first, should be that you don't fully appreciate what the artist/s were trying to do with the music, and not just say "It's cheap shite" and live your life thinking that that track is rubbish and does not deserve listening to. -Ed
