Granted, it wasn't godly, but neither was the remix on DJ food's album, which prompted me to go seek out this Duke O' Harringay thing. I mean, Alroy is pretty neat, and fairly unique, with lots of nice muddy production and real jazz-improv keyboard/bass solos here n' there, but the last couple of tracks are a tad boring (and is the staticy distortion in the bass a bad pressing thing or an intentional thing or what), and the whole thing as a 12" without regard to its unique sound absoultely pales in comparison to, say, the Hangable Auto Bulb, or any of the Photeks I bought a few weeks ago. I believe that the forthcoming _album_ is what precisely was hyped up, however, so we'll have to wait for that before really passing judgement on Sqpr, now, won't we?
