Hey ho, thank you yr right ! Too much hype surrounding only the DX 100 Another difference between TX81Z and earlier 4op FM: the TX81Z and on use 16 bit DA's instead of 12 bit. A difference between 6op (DX7) and 4op FM which can also explain some "fatness" in 4op machines: When you set the output level of a 6op machine to 99, it has the same output level as a 4op machine at 90. When you take an operator in a 4op machine to 99 your distorting it a bit trainspotting bit: The sfg05 generator for CX5M machines is also the same as the FB01/DX100 and so on. ObIDM: Jochem Paap's Public Energy album will indeed be stupefying... Electro/HipHop/Industrial sorta loud stuff. Also look out for the first Drum&Bass release on BMU by Amp-Error... the quasi-official BMU pages are at http://www.uud.nl.com/bmu/ OnNow: ClockDVA - Man-Amplified -- "No corporation will ever pay a creator enough to sue them successfully." -Dave Sim, creator of Cerebus Allert Aalders - Big Time Concepts - allert@knoware.nl - KoX
