perusing the local record shop this weekend, i came across a compilation on
clear records called "it's all becoming clear." now, i've just subscribed
to idm (in digest form), quietly observed discourse, and searched the
archives, but am most chagrined to conclude that this comp. has not been
discussed (i recall a mention of it a few days back, but no details beyond
a jedi knights remix of somethingorother)...now, it may be that clear has
had its moment in the sun and we've all moved on to intelligent freestyle
or ambient-bhangra-hardcore or whatever, but i have to think there are a
few stragglers out there who snapped this thing up on sight. my
question(s): 1) are any of the versions _mixed_? i've seen the cd and the
cassette; i know the cd is _not_ mixed, but is the cassette? 2) will this
be released on vinyl? stupid question, probably, but i'm going to do a
write-up of it soon, so i'd better have my facts straight; 3) is all or
most of the material previously unreleased? reviews are, of course, highly
valued and much appreciated...
also, for any packaging enthusiasts out there, seek out this disc/cassette.
some of the most beautifully indulgent, self-absorbed wraparound shit i've
seen yet!
