Just my opinion on albums and their content/length: I would much rather buy an album which is very strong and coherent as a whole, which I can sit down and listen to from start to finish. If this means that it is only 45mins in length so be it. I agree that both EPs and Albums should set out to tell a story, butan album can tell a short story or a long one. The fact that some people feel "ripped-off" by a short album says something about capitalism and the structure of the music 'industry' rather than musical content. To this end it is up to us to explore alternative forms of music distribution, which serve both the artist and the listener much much better.
