Coldcut et al. do it AGAIN! Ntone CD9 Transcend: 2005 Coldcut: Cymatic Frequency Joanna Law: First Time I Saw Your Face [ silky cheese that works! :] Neotropic: Weeds Path: Gather Journeyman: 50cc Transcend: 2003 Drome: Hypobank (Rmx) MLO: Sleeper Bogus Order: Zen In Africa Hex: Dubmunculus Real Life: Shark Dance Alien Community: s/t Space Time Continuum: Pressure Hex: Harmonic Purr: Float On Yumm...this is VERY EXCELLENT imho. Lots of variety: d'n'b, ambient, trip h**,cheese, samples, and some detroity stuff, and, oh yeah, IDM. Well mixed by Coldcut. This WOULD get a party GOING!!! (maybe its just that its Friday) (and then make 'em trip out) The *only* problem is that it is one long track without division (as you would expect a dj-mixed track to be.) I was the one that started the thread on the Objet's d'Art 92-95 comp. Even a whole week later than my first post, I'd have to say that this is the BEST comp of IDM that I have EVER purchased. Highlight the *I* bit, underline the "D" bit, and emphasize the "M" bit :) And, you can probably get it at Modern Music or Bent Crayon. I would highly recommend either for availability AND user-friendliness. Have a nice w/e: its warm and humid in New Orleans. Jim Up next: Logical Progression comp alt-F-X ++dr. z Music is the KEY!
