Temple of Transparent Balls is not nearly as good as Spanners. However,
don't let this get you down, as Transparent Balls still features some
inspirational intelligent music. Plaid is 2/3 of Black Dog, it started
as a side project, but when Black Dog fell apart (in part because of the
split Plaid was responsible for) Plaid went on to do their own thing.
Post-split Black Dog is simply the remaining guy, I think it's Ken
Downey, but I'm just thinking off the top of my head. Both bands are
signed to Warp...albums expected shortly.
