Trying to amuse myself on a sunday, I walked into a local record store and found three New Electronica LP's, 1.99 each and a fiver for the lot. I couldn't resist, even after splashing out on the Iain Pooley album - The Times and the Jedi Knights - New School Science and a Deep Dish mix CD the day before. There are two called Global Technological Innovations, one UK-1 and the other a more worldwide mix of artists including Carl Craig. The third was the Kirk DeGiorgio remix album - Reflections on Reflections. What a bloody bargain!! People, get the Jedi Knights album, it's funky as hell. A huge inprovement on the Antacid remix on Warp last year. Adios, Derek. THE PRESENT IS PAST BUT THE FUTURE IS STILL TO COME
