Now I'm going to have to beat you senseless Julius! If you can't see the connection btw Prince and Public Enemy (and Chick Corea, for that matter) then don't buy the record. Josh Wink has another 30 hrs of lame acid for you to listen to. BTW much has been made of Industrial influences in the harder work of Richard James. Perhaps he listened to a bit of industrial (was Skinny Puppy big in the UK?) but the case can be made that the work of the Bomb Squad and Terminator X are more direct precursors. Listen to "It takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back", then AB IV and get back to me. Actually that would be one of my dream teams -- Hank Shocklee, Terminator X, Richard James and Flavor Flav. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Kent Williams kent@inav.net (319) 338 6053 (home) (319) 626 6700 x 219 (work) (319) 626 3489 (fax)
