i saw Nightmares on Wax live once in Munich in 1991. They were the biggest
dissapointment I've ever seen. All they did was put on a tape and come out and
rap over the top of it. the rapping wasn't even good. it was three guys
jumping around yelling off key with minimal rhythm, yelling so loud the sound
was distorting, yelling continuously to the point you couldn't really dig the
music. i had all their warp singles at the time and they hadn't rapped a peep
on any of them. To their credit i still love everything they put on wax to
date, even those house records on Nucleus.
Luckily they were playing with LFO who saved the night.
