Would all of you keep in mind that the analogue versus digital thing is like the Good Times virus. People just can't leave it alone. But please try. It's more a forum for people to propagate misinformation and air their petty prejudices, than any kind of substantive discussion with a point in mind. Buy your copy of Threads and shut your festering gob about CD Vs Vinyl. Vinyl is more convenient for DJ'ing, CD's are easier to listen to in other settings. Any real difference ins sound quality is going to be swamped in the other comprimises in sound reproduction that it's a moot discussion. do you really think that after you run a signal through a DJ mixer with the outputs pegged and the EQ at extreme settings, into a compressor, through a 5 Kwatt amplifier, into a crossover connected to a big bass binn and a 1/2 blown tweeter, that you're going to hear a difference? The only difference you're going to hear is when the record's scratched and you get one of those nice 115 dB POP sounds in your ear. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Every revolution evaporates and leaves behind only the slime of a new beauracracy -- Franz Kafka Kent Williams kent@inav.net (319) 338 6053 (home) (319) 626 6700 x 219 (work) (319) 626 3489 (fax)
