I like them both,
however i think the size of a vinyl 10/12" makes it a format
easier to manipulate...also there are alot of releases
especially dance/Idm that are vinyl only.
I think CDs work well for ambient and tracks with clear
pecise sounds, but i find it difficult to listen to any
analogue (acid) tracks on Cds, digital doesn't really work
well for the analogue synth pitches (IMO).
The one thing that i hate about vinyl though, is when you've
just bought a new record, it's really cool, and you get bad
surface noise, and then it jumps....and then the sound
quality decreases quickly.
