"origins of a sound". it clicks and pop-a-locks all the way home. when
you listen to mad mike's "base camp 808" and think "shit, mike was
throwin' this down in his mama's basement in 1989?????". truly the
origin from which all things jedi, elektoid, and bantha flow.
the juan atkins collaboration which opens the disc is a non-stop
bubblin' groover. it winds down and spins back up at least 7 times;
you'll be wiping sweat off yer brow and staggerin' off the floor until
you get sucked back in to the electro-madness of that track. a lot of
fun and plenty of bouncing vibe.
aux88 contribute some smooth sub-bass groove in 'let's dance', and
drexciya have a couple of kickers, tho not top form.
call , fax or email submerge NOW if you don't have this one yet.
