I love the combination of sound and visual techniques. Most of my friends just
prefer to dance and don't care about the visual aspect. But for me, it works
extremely well. I regard his performance as art ... intrigueing and appealing
to the senses. The one thing missing is to be able to touch or taste it :-)

Thomas Kohner, who I believe appeared on the Ambient Isolationism CD, combines
music with visuals. Not in the way Locust does. The last time I saw him he
developed a film 'live', using chemicals, he ran the film along rollers to play
in a loop, dipping into the chemicals, and thus becoming more and more visible
as the music went on. I thought the idea fascinating .. Reminded me a bit of
those old black and white movies .. His music doesn't do much for me though.
