Apologies for the crosspost, but
this concerns anyone checking the
underground techno zine The Skreem
through TheNet's mirror in the UK...

Despite being given 5mb of web space
and a domain name by TheNet, with
regret, I have decided to pull the zine
from this server... here's why...
Over the past few weeks I have repeatedly
asked TheNet to answer some very basic
questions, to which I have received zero
response, not any sort of acknowledgement
whatever. I am not prepared to have the
fate of a mirror site left in the hands of
people I have no faith in, people who don't
seem to give a toss about their customers,
people who could take back what they have
given in the twinkling of an eye. More
importantly, the attitude shown by TheNet
is exactly what The Skreem is NOT about.
Perhaps I'm just an overly idealistic,
moralistic, head up my arse fool but
this is the way it is.
If anyone knows of a suitable server willing
to host the Skreem........
I apologise to those of you who used the uk
server but if you add TheNet's continuous
lying to their customers to the above it
wasn't worth dealing w/the MFs.
Keep smiling!!
stevvi.
