The most appalling use of IDM I've ever seen (well, _heard_) on TV:
Once I left my TV tuned to (American [crap]) MTV, and ignored it until I
heard the familiar strains of Aphex Twin's "On"... I looked up and
realized it was being used as background music to "The Real World" (blech).
Hopefully the negative association will fade soon and I will be able
to listen to "On" again. :)
