To my experience Locust is according to a lot of idm-lovers one of the best artists of the last couple of years. It doesnt mean that because on this mailing list he didnt get much attention in the past that the idm-public isnt highly enthousiastic about his work.I am to my believe one of the few belgian subscribers on this list but in the idm scene in Belgium (especially Ghent) he is appreciated by a lot of people i know. PS: I was wondering how the opinions are about the "live" performances by Mark Van Hoen.I saw him about five times now and i really enjoy his mixage of music and images. The last thing he did was this video in which he sampled all kind of stuff (queen, jimmy hendrix, etc) into "songs". Are there any other projects who use this technique in performing live? I was also wondering if anyone could tell me which female vocalists were used during the video, because I am not sure whether one of them was Annie Williams, the vocalist who worked with Mark in the past.
