Hey I'm excited! I had a delicious day at the store today! I got Tri Repetae, Amber, and Incunabula all in one wave of my charge card! I also got a hold of 'G-spot/Speedy J', 'X-mix/3,4 & 5', 'Musica'/Stickman records, 'On a Journey/Kelli Hand', and (in retro) 'Blueprints for Modern Tech. 1 and 2'--Which includes 'Kaboose' my favorite and *most* intelligent F.U.S.E. track--IMHO! I was drooling all the way home wondering which one to open first! ...........Tri Repetae, of course. I know we're tired of the artist live thread, but I'm an artist and I am planning how to orchestrate my live performance over the next few months. I am approaching it from an angle like I'm a performing artist, and the audience isn't going to a 'rock and roll' style concert but, rather, would be attending an installation at a gallery, where I will be facilitating the event. I see myself somewhere between people going to a movie and going to a live play. I don't remember who said it but I agree with the person who wrote that we need to figure out a whole new way to experience/perceive intelligent dance live. Although I input all my sequences live and at the speed they are played back, there is absolutely no way I could hope to play every part of my tracks live. Some songs have as many as 13 percussion tracks going at the same time! It's impossible. I hope to eventually (way out of grasp at the moment) have different screens in my set each with an independent picture content synced to different elements of my tracks, but I would always be in control. I would be an artist touring with my 'installation piece' not just a 'band in a box'. peace Dale ____________________________________________ it is good . . . we are saved.
