Hi there! :) I just subscribed to the list, and thought I'd introduce
myself. I'm Frank Glazer, aka (DJ) Count Zer0. I just unsubscribed
from the ambient list, cuz things seemed kinda boring around there,
and having met Alan a week ago in B-more, thought the idm list he told
me about might be a little more appropriate for me. :) So, lets see. .
Um, I'm a junior in college near Pittsburgh PA (St. Vincent College in Latrobe)
I am studying liberal arts with concentrations in English and
Communications. I've been raving only since June of '94. I started
spinning at the radio station at my school at about that time,
actually before that, but only got seriously into techno and ambient
techno after that. . . Just recently did I finally acquire my own set
of turntables. I can't really peg down one style that I like, but I
can say that I like pretty, happy, uplifting, spiritual tunes with
futuristic edges, and I can groove also to some phat mellow "triphop"
stuff too :) I'm on this list to try to expand my knowledge of techno,
to share ideas about ambient djing, and to chat with fun nice people
who have similar interests as I. :) well, thats all for now. . . cya -cz
