NOW WE'RE TALKIN! This is exactly what we IDm'ers ought to be discussing
so those who, like me, may be frustrated at the scenes can develop ideas
to form our own possible events. Thank you CiM for diverting the discussion.
Personally, as with techno DJ'ing, the answer is TRACK selection. It also
involves how we are gonna define IDM for the night. Now lets not get off
to a tangent on defining IDM, that would take too many posts. I think we
can all agree it revolves somewhere around the types of styles
demonstrated on the ARtificial Intelligence series I+II. I agree that
there are difficulties in entertaining a crowd with IDM, but that is a
problem in any entertainment sphere.
