I know somebody from Baltimore or Ft. Lauderdale will roast me for this, but I haven't got the vaguest idea why the Los Angeles date is on a Wednesday night in a horrid little Rock n' Roll venue (The Troubadour), while Baltimore and Ft. Lauderdale get the prime Saturday night bookings. (Yes, I'm vaguely aware that the Ft. Lauderdale event is part of a larger festival of some sort.) These folks should be playing at a good ol' fashioned Saturday night LA rave, not some Industry Showcase hole in the wall. In a perfect world, these guys would have been hooked up with the mega Dee-Troit blowout here in LA on the 2nd (Derrick May, Stacey Pullen, Juan Atkins and Kenny Larkin - get me my nitro glycerine Martha, this is the big one!) instead of having Barry Weaver and Ernie Munson tacked on as time wasters taking away time from the Masters. (Note that the 2nd is a Saturday.) As much as I'm happy to have the opportunity to catch these folks, I think the scheduling of this in LA for a Wednesday night is a Big Mistake. - Greg
