Mute's mailing list mentioned that it would be out sometime this year, of course no specific date.

If you listen to the track on the last Trance Atlantic comp called Simulcra Part 1, I would have to say it falls into that IDM realm. Dangers said in an interview that the new album would be relying heavily on eletronics rather than sampling. I think he is taking a new direction with his music though that's always been the case with him. I'd have to say MBM is definitely one the unique ones. Anyway that's my 2 cents and of course IMHO, as always. Ross Volition Inc
