Yes, it infects twits who then feel the need to post completely inappropriate e-mails to mailing lists that are for discussion of something completely different. One of the great things about IDM is the signal-to-noise ratio, *and* the fact that people know how to follow Netiquette - they don't post inappropriate things (usually), they know how to quote properly, they don't include whole posts after what their response is, there aren't individuals posting 10 messages a day with nothing more than a complete quote of a message and a one-liner (or one word!) response, etc. This kind of behavior is starting to destroy other mailing lists I'm on (socal-raves, for example). I don't want to see it start here.
