Had to comment on this general emissions discussion I think Andy just wanted to give up the name 'sabres of paradise' as it seems more than coincidence that last year his sabres label changed names and the sabres band split up. Emissions is still the sabres of paradise as you'd know if you look at the copyright on any emissions record. There was just one cat no missed out in the transition, PT018 for singles and in the albums SOP003 doesn't exist. The cat numbers for emissions started off in a logical sequence of Echoic, Static, Lo-fi but the last few releases have stopped this sequence. Sabrettes, being a completely different label with different owner (Nina Walsh) has been unaffected by Andys goings on but have been pretty quiet of late except for the 101+303+808 release. As most of you will know since the split of the sabres Andy has joined up with Dave Harrow of On U Sound and Technova fame and formed Bloodsugar, the first signs of which were with remixes of Percy X and Audioweb. their debut release as bloodsugar will be out soon, a double pack 12" called 'levels'. Kooner & Burns, are pretty much devoting themselves to the Aloof now, haveing a major deal with East West, a single due soon with the 2nd album to follow. For any more info check out the following out of date sites: Official Sabrettes: http://www.phreak.co.uk/haywire/sabrettes Official Emissions: http://www.phreak.co.uk/haywire/emissions The Sabreweb: http://www.warwick.ac.uk/~esvtk/sabres My sabreweb is undergoing a netscape-2 refurbishment and so i havent updated the old version for a couple of months. I'll let you know when the Sabreweb 96 goes up (with it's US mirror site). It'll hopefully be next week if i get my act together. cheers martin
