Yeah I attended the Sydney night of the tour last saturday (30/12/95). The night was pretty cool with Money Mark (not Marky Mark) being the only one playing live and a lot of that was sequenced, BUT he did way cool things with feedback and a harmonica not to mention his keyboards. The man must have the strongest keyboard stand i've ever seen as he jumped up onto his keyboard bent down and started playing it with one hand and in the the other hand he had a mic and a harmonica which he played brilliantly. The other guy's all just DJ'ed for the night, with the best DJ undoubtly being DJ Shadow (who I think was the last DJ to play,if he wasn't well the best DJ was the last one, anyway). He's set was a little more uptempo than the others with him playing some excellent and surprising tunes such as 808 State's "Pacific State", Josh Wink's "Higher State of Conciousness (Freekin tweakin acid mix)", Goldie's "Inner City Life" and surprise surprise Oasis's "Wonderwall" which surprisingly got the crowd dancing. My only real criticism of the night was that most of the music was just too slow (really laidback trip hop) to dance to... no real problem, because almost all of it was amazing to listen to. Though my partner and I wanted to dance more... we hit the dancefloor during DJ Shadow's set. Which was as I said amazing. Good night, especially if you're into trip-hop and the slower side of dance, jungle, etc. Regards, John /-------------------------------------------------------------------\ | JOHN BUS (aka.
