The holidays are a special time. But there is one downside & it
is a devistating one to me. From about mid-December till mid-
January new music releases grind to a halt. Being an avid watcher
of the weekly record distributer faxes and a new music addict,
a, kind-of, new music withdrawal sets in. You know the symptoms:
agitation, anxiety, longing and searching through record stores
which you know have no worthwhile releases.
Some say, "Just catch up on releases you didn't buy the first
time around." That may work for a day or two but I still have to
suffer for the better part of a month. Does anyone else experience
a similar withdrawal or should I check in to the Betty Ford Clinic
tomorrow?
To ease my withdrawal, I like to have something to look forward
to. So could all you kind idm, jungle & ambient posters list upcoming
release dates for new music? I know the B12 - Time Tourist, LFO -
Advance, Spacetime Continuum - Emit Ecaps, Kinestasia - Sympathy
Box, Subtropic - Homebrew are slated for late January release. Do you
guys know of anything else? What are the upcoming release schedules
for Warp? New Electronica/Beachwood? Refelctive? Clear? I need a fix
soon... aaarggggg!
