sometimes i do if it's a movie i've heard good things about, but usually it is a waste of time... the one time it was really worth it was when i learned that lots of Meat Beat Manifesto samples are from "The 5000 Fingers Of Doctor T". Now THAT is a bizarre flick. One of the sets in it is a gigantic two-level twisting and turning piano keyboard (designed for 500 kids to play simultaneously, hence the 5000 fingers). I always thought that would make a great IDM album cover. obidm: uh... er... well, mouse on mars is still great... i think _ioara tahiti_ will be on my top 10 list... if i can even think of 10 albums i liked that much this year. oh yeah, and _furnace_ by download is really amazing if you're into challenging music...
