Not to draw this out any further, but a Japanese friend of mine says that
otaku means house or home. I can see how it can gain a different meaning as
a slang term.
ObIDM: (question really). Anybody know anything about the Dougans/Cobain
blokes from the UK? Last I heard, they were supposed to be making some cool
funky TV show. Seems like they're just lying low for a while... not much in
the magazines or on this list about 'em.
Also, I bought 2 Bad Mice's album on Sm:)e, Kaotic Chemistry, and was wondering
if one of the tracks titled "Underworld" could possibly have been written
by Underworld? It sure sounds like it, very different from the other tracks
on that album.
